Easy Points

I've decided to start a new game. Everyone I talk to says time will make things easier, so for every day since Rusty's death, I get one easy point. Today I only have 21 easy points, (yes, 3 weeks ago this day) so it's still really hard, but I've mapped them out in my planner, and I see it goes up to and beyond 189 easy points! So it WILL get easier, I just need to save my easy points... and it's going to take more than 3 weeks to save enough so that I'll be able to wake up with a smile while also knowing that he's not laying there beside me ready for our daily snuggle.

Lately, I'm content.
I'm not fretting about whether or not I'm using my degree on the job any more. I'm content with a bottom-of-the-barrel tech support job that pays me more than any kitchen job because kitchen jobs wear out the body so much you spend more on medical bills.. and they pay you less! Now I just need to work on my posture and it's no struggle to pay my bills. I've decided that art isn't pure coming from me if I'm doing it for a pay check, so I'm finally at peace in that regard.
I started playing WoW again last week.

I see. It's too bad the economy isn't doing too well right now, but at least if you have a job that pays your bills your good. WoW? I'm trying to get an account so I can play with some people here who play it too. Mostly though because my husband and his brother play WoW and I downloaded all three disks from his brother. What servers do you usually play on?

wanna say i like your art. the broken up cds are cool, i remember someone showing me something like that once but she used elmers and it peeled off. your photography is beautiful, even if its not considered ';perfect' by professionals or whatever. keep it up! :3

You mean someone else has done that?! Damn, my biggest Artist's Block is, "Nah, it's been done before. I'd just be a copy-cat." I want to make something truly original.
Funny thing is, I got the band's latest CD yesterday, and it's just as inspiring as the other ones. One song says something like "I am my own worst enemy. I have everything to lose by not trying my best because I might get used to it." It's really got me thinking about my fear of being unoriginal.
Thanks for saying my photography's beautiful. I strive to be perfect in my art, so I value other's opinions and critiques. Though striving for perfection always leaves a feeling of failure. ^^;
